The thirtieth edition of Botany News!
Dear reader!
Welcome back to Botany News and a warm welcome to new readers and clients. While it is still foggy and cold outside it is possible to go for nature walks or just keep warm inside! And while summer has not yet arrived, it is soon time to prepare your garden for the summer and rearrange your house plants. If you are already planning your summer holiday and would like to join a botanical theme tour and see for yourself the locations where our hardy northern plants grow.
Our Botanical Tours focus on the botany of Iceland while also giving you enlightening insights into our culture, geology, and zoology. Most often the tours involve light hiking and nature appreciation. We explore moss heaths, farmlands, coastal vegetation, wetlands, geothermal plants, and birch forests while allowing sufficient time to experience the nature and history of the country.
We now offer three botanical tour themes, Flora and Culture, Flora and Fauna, and Flora and Geology and our team of naturalists has good knowledge of the flora of Iceland and key places of visit. Explore the botany of Iceland and enjoy watching wild flowering plants and other natural wonders, while at the same time sensing the atmosphere of various places in Iceland.
Make sure you sign up for Botanical Tours in Iceland this year. We will assist you in picking the right tour for you and your travel mates.
Our newsletter, Botany News, is a platform for a refreshing dialogue on botany and ecology, environmental issues, and nature conservation. Feedback from our readers is always welcome, leading to new and inspiring content.
Feel free to share this newsletter through emails, blogs, websites, and social media. We would very much like links to others working on biology and ecology, eco-friendly and health-related tourism, culture and arts, and green lifestyle.
Best regards,
Soffía Arnþórsdóttir
